Conjugations (That they don’t teach you in school)

Verb: to love

Present: I love.

Past: I loved.

Future: I will love.

Our language tells us to use the past tense when someone has passed into the next world.

But language sometimes falls short.

Because It’s not true.

It doesn’t matter where you are,

I love you.

I will love you.

Just an early morning attempt at poetry… RIP Drew, mon cousin.

Disney sequels generally aren’t good, but I’ve been thinking about this song a lot. Because  my [second] cousins are definitely Drew and Adrienne’s kids.

  1. ❤ This is a beautiful post. And the song is perfect. "The ones that love us never really leave us." ~Sirius Black.
